Compendium of Curiosities Marble Paint Challenge

Hooray! I finally got my copy of Compendium of Curiosities III.  Time to play with Paint Marbling for the Linda Ledbetter challenge.  I started by playing with tags, but wanted to make something a bit bigger for the first challenge.  Here is what I made.

I started with a 5x7 canvas panel and distress paint.  Since that's the challenge I had to use it.
I can't tell you how I did it, but poof these colors went on the canvas to look like this.
You can see I used tissue wrap and stencils to add to the background.  I also spritzed the back to add speckles.
I hope you all like the canvas.  I can't wait for the next challenge.

The awesome Inspiration Emporium is providing the prize for this challenge.  Their shop is amazing.
Rhedd's Creative Spirit is having an anything goes challenge.
What have you been crafting?

  3. Your canvas is GORGEOUS! It's the perfect mix of grungy shabby chic for me. I especially love the chain which the bird cage is hanging from. Really love it. :)
