I always wanted to be a dancer. Alas, it was not meant to be. Stop by The Robin's Nest today to see what those who can't dance do...

Tim Holtz Tag for February
I love the techniqueTim used this month. Collages really just let you play. Here's my take.
Would you believe the ring around the bride and groom was a vintage plastic scarf tie?! The power of alcohol ink. That stuff rocks.
Hope you enjoy my tag!
I am also entering this into the Craft Hoarders Anonymous How do I Love Thee challenge.

Be mine- A Valentine tag
It's time for the 21st CC3 Challenge! The lovely Linda Ledbetter hosts this challenge and it is amazing. We have been making our way through Tim Holtz's third volume of the Compendium of Curiosities. There's a fantastic prize from The Inspiration Emporium this go around too.
I can't tell you how I made the tag(that's part of the challenge), but I can show you my interpretation .

The stamped image was fussy cut and colored using distress markers and a water brush.
The flash card is a vintage German card.
The forget me nots were a nice little romantic touch at the top.

Winner, Winner Chicken Dinner Giveaway!
I had so much fun making the prize ribbons featured on the Robin's Nest blog yesterday I had to make more.
These are great to make for so many occasions. It's also a fantastic way to use up bits of paper and ribbon from your stash. I made these smaller ones to send out as random acts of kindness. Most of these have images from Lisa's Altered Art.
Since the small ones were fun I decided to try making one using an 8x8 pad of paper.

This October Afternoon paper is perfect for book lovers.
Well, time to try 12x12 paper.
This one is by far my favorite. I used a vintage tart tin in the center instead of a rosette. I liked it so much I made it twice.
And one more bookish ribbon to round out today's post.
This one used a bunch of Graphic 45 paper and chipboard center.
If you want to see how I made them I did a tutorial on the Robin's Nest.
I hope you enjoy these as much as I do!
I decided to give one winner a prize ribbon. Enter below.
I will choose one winner on February 9th.
Good luck!
