I love to read and I love to craft, but I love nothing more than this...
My awesome little girl is the best thing since sliced bread.
I was really good about scrapbooking her first year and then I fizzled. I am getting back into it, but looking at my photo backlog usually sending me running for the hills.
I decided rather than worry about doing them chronologically I would just scrap them as I feel like it. That's why you date the pages right?
I made this great mini album using Echo Park's Sweet Girl line. This post has a ton of photos-starting ....NOW!
I started with a Melody Ross mini album. Most of the pages are completely recovered.
This is the front cover. Some bakers twine helps define the clothes line. A big Prima flower and some tiny forget me nots are on the bottom, along with a row of teeny pompom trim.
I used lots of foam tape to raise elements throughout the album. I also aged the paper by using Distress Ink in Antique Linen.
The hounds tooth on the side here is part of the original Melody album.
I love this fluffy ribbon trim. A rosette and vintage button give it just the right amount of sunshine.
No album is complete without some washi tape.
Many of the stickers are a heavy chipboard.
Vintage yellow pompom trim.
Handmade rose and petals. More washi tape and forget me nots.
There's the ruffle ribbon in yellow. I just glued the chipboard letters right to it.
Crepe paper poppy.
Tulle trim in red and gray.
More bakers twine to make the banner.
Vintage red pom pom trim and a big lady bug.
The back cover is the original cover. I just added the sweet girl embellishment to it.
Now I just need to add the photos.
Thanks for sticking with me on this post!
What have you been crafting?
