Keep your Chin Up!

I can't believe Linda Ledbetter and the crew are on the 25th challenge!  If you haven't joined in there is still plenty of time.  You can order a copy of Tim Holtz's CC3 on his website.  There are so many awesome techniques in there.  You won't regret the purchase!  I must not forget to mention there are fabulous prizes to be won from the amazing Inspiration Emporium.

The time the challenge focuses on Frameworks.
I made this out of a manila card you use in an index card box to sort things alphabetically.  You can see the extra little tab at the top.

The background uses Cracked Pistachio, Mermaid Lagoon, and Pumice Stone.  I speckled it with Weathered Wood Distress Paint and Black Dylusions Ink.

The frame is tinted with Mermaid Alcohol ink.
I am also entering this one into A Vintage Journey's Through the Looking Glass
What have you been crafting?

  1. What a great vintage scene you created on this label Jess! Love the pretty Miss reflected in the 'mirror' and your wonderful pastel colors used with the Frameworks die - thanks so much for joining us in the A Vintage Journey "through the looking glass' challenge!

  2. Gorgeous card Jess. The colours are gorgeous and I love the sentiment with the framed vintage image.

  3. This has such a great retro feeling to it! Love the sweet image of the girl in Tim's Industrial metal oval frame. Love the distress colors you've used here. Love how you've incorporated Tim's frameworks die cut into the piece. Great job! Thanks for sharing with us at CC3C.

  4. Such a lovely tag, Jess! Love all the colors you used as well as the different patterns you placed inside the frameworks! That pretty lady in the frame is so sweet too! Thanks for joining us for this challenge!

  5. How gorgeous and creative! I love the idea of a Manila card with tab. Beautifully done Jess! Karen.x
