Teacups with a touch of sass

Hi Everyone,
I am sure a bunch of you hit your local Joann a few weeks ago when they were clearancing out a bunch of their dies.  I scored some I had my eye on and a few I was indifferent to.  I am not a coffee or tea drinker, so the tea cup die from Tim Holtz and Sizzix was not a must own for me.  For $6 I can make anything work!
I had so much fun putting my sassy ladies in their snarky tea cups. *Warning a couple use some foul language*
My ladies are all from Lisa's Altered Art.

They all have a little remnant rub or phrase on their tag.

The little cuts in the top of the cups are perfect for sliding the girls in.

Using double sided paper made putting the cups together a breeze.

Some of the girls have bling.

Some just let their expression and the quote say it all!

What would your snarky teacup say?

Shoes!

I love shoes. I own far too many pairs.  Even if I don't wear all the gorgeous shoes I have I still like to admire them from time to time.  And who says you can't do housework in your Dolce and Gabbana heels with suede fringe and feathers?
Stop by the Robin's Nest to read more about my love affair with shoes and check out this sassy lady.

Soiled Dove Wall Hanging

I had so much fun putting together this little wall hanging.  I just love Lisa's Altered Art.  Her images and sentiments are just perfect.  I use them all the time.
The back piece was cut from so chipboard that had been used previously, but needed a face lift.  The piece that my lovely lady is mounted on is actually an old beer coaster.  I love using coasters on my crafts.   They are a great size and thickness.
I am not sure if you can tell from the picture, but that is a real feather on her headband.
You can see the edge of the coaster has been inked up using Black Soot Distress Ink.  The tulle ribbon is from Maya Road.
A vial label and remnant rubs added another bit of wit to the hanging. You can also tell from the shadow her foot makes that I used foam tape to raise her off the coaster.  The background paper is from Pink Paislee.  I used Distress Paint in Picket Fence and Weathered wood around the edges to age it.  I also spritzed it with my Distress Spritzer using my Black Soot Marker.
I am entering this lovely lady into the Craft Hoarders Anonymous Upcycle Challenge.
